the job done

Every great story starts with a spark, and our Authentic Story Lab is where that spark becomes something real.

We invite emerging storytellers from underrepresented racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds to develop their original ideas alongside industry professionals. Through group sessions, one-on-one mentorship, story development workshops, panel discussions, and artist resources, we give participants the tools and confidence to pitch their story to the world.

Fellows who complete the Authentic Story Lab leave with a fully developed pitch package and the opportunity to be selected for our Guided Production Pipeline.

We select a few standout projects from our Authentic Story Lab to bring into our Guided Production Pipeline, a hands-on mentorship and production program where we work with creators one-on-one to produce a professional-quality sample of their work.

We help our participants pitch their project to major industry partners, publishers, and platforms, opening doors that are too often closed to creators from underrepresented communities. Our approach is simple: every creator who enters the Pipeline will come away with something real, something made, and something ready to find its audience.
